Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Lt. Governor Scott Angelle hosted a news conference at Port Fouchon on June 10, 2010 to announce the new Gulf Economic Survival Team and urge President Obama to reduce this six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling. Many local and state leaders, as well as hundreds of energy industry employees, attended the event.
