We support a more streamlined permitting process for offshore energy development that will reinvigorate our national economy and our domestic energy production. At a time when Americans are struggling to find work, fuel prices remain high, and our economic recovery remains weak, expediting domestic offshore energy exploration and production is a real solution.  Re-start the economic engine that is the Gulf of Mexico.
